COVID-19 in Long-Term Care (LTC) Office Hours: Vaccinations are Underway – What Next?

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Renee Marquardt, Chief Medical Officer for the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), is the speaker for Telligen’s next LTC Office Hours. Join us for this interactive event being held on Thursday, February 11th at 2pm CT. Although most if not all LTC facilities are well on the way to vaccinating residents and staff, many are tackling barriers to vaccine confidence and updating infection prevention and control programs. Dr. Marquardt will share best practices, lessons learned, and strategies to maximize vaccination rates for both residents and staff.
Dr. Marquardt oversees pandemic management for CDHS’s nineteen facilities, including Colorado’s five Veterans Community Living Centers. She is currently one of the lead members of the Governor’s Residential Care Strike Team.
Objectives:
Following this event, participants will:
1. Identify best practices to increase vaccine confidence and maximize vaccination rates for residents and staff.
2. Understand the need for ongoing infection prevention practices following resident and staff vaccination.
