Revisiting Critical Elements of the QAPI Plan: Be Prepared When the CMS Temporary Enforcement Remedies of 2017 Expire

Soon, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CMS) November 2017 memo from the Survey and Certification group that issued a 18-month moratorium suspending civil monetary penalties for certain Phase Two requirements of the CMS nursing home Requirements of Participation will expire. This includes Tag F865- QAPI Plan. Now is the time to ensure your organization is prepared. This Telligen webinar will review the required elements of Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) plans as well as the CMS critical element pathway for Quality Assessment and Assurance (QAA) and QAPI Plans. The session will conclude discussing strategies for creating or sustaining staff awareness of QAPI.
