April Coffee Talk: What You Need to Know About Integrating the Collaborative Care Model to Provide Support for Medication-Assisted Treatment in Your Practice

April 11 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm CDT

Description:
In 2017, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that 115 people die every day from an opioid overdose (46 of those involving prescription opioids) and declared the opioid epidemic “a public health emergency.” Please join Dr. Lori Raney, a leading authority on the collaborative care model, board-certified psychiatrist and principal with the Health Management Association in Denver, Colorado, to learn more about office-based opioid treatment, with an emphasis on medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and coordinating integrated behavioral health in the primary care setting. Telligen advisors will share helpful hints for aligning Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) measures and improvement activities to support your goals to recognize and reduce substance use in patients.

Audience:
Physician office staff, healthcare providers, quality leaders, administrators and clinician managers
