Opioid Safety Project Webinar Series: Non-Pharmacologic Approaches to Pain Management
A primary patient concern is often the presence of discomfort or pain. While pain medications are warranted for some conditions, non-pharmacologic approaches to pain management can be used in conjunction or in place of medication. In this Telligen webinar recorded in October 2018, Steve DeToy of the Rhode Island Medical Society presents Rhode Island’s initiatives to combating opioid addictions. This presentation also includes an overview of legislative and state-based perspectives to pain management approaches.
